Gatwick NDB GE, 7 July 2005.

Both Gatwick NDB's are in line with the runway. The GE is at the east side, the GY is at the west side, about 5 miles (8 km) from the middle of the runway.
We came over the A264 from Crawley heading for Copthorne and East Grinstead. After we passed Copthorne we took the B2028 towards Lingfield. Drive on for around 2½ miles (4 km) and take a narrow road going left. Soon it bends 45 degrees to the right, then after 500 metres there is an old school building on the RHS. Opposite this building is a farm path along a hedge that soon bends to the right. At the end of this path you will find the NDB GE.
