Gatwick NDB GY, 7 July 2005

Both Gatwick NDB's are in line with the runway. The GE is at the east side, the GY is at the west side, about 5 miles (8 km) from the middle of the runway.
On the A24 take at the north of Horsham the A264 towards Crawley. Take the first road to the left. Follow this along Langhurst. At the T-junction go left towards Clark's Green and Capel. At a sharp bend to the right you will find Ridge Farm on the LHS, 200 metres further is a sharp bend to the left and soon after that a path to the left. From this path you can see the NDB GY.

Warning!The farmer doesn't like strangers on his farm. When you go along this path and you come near the farm there is a sign warning you for his dogs. And he owns a couple of ferocious dogs! They came to us before we were near enough to the sign to read it. The farmer said that they don't come there, but they do.
Be careful, you can't trust those dogs!
