Woodley NDB WOD, 4 July 2005.

On the M4 near Reading we took exit 10 to the A329 towards Wokingham. On the A329 we took the first exit and went towards Woodley – to the right going beneath the A329. At the roundabout after the viaduct go straight on. About 0.6 miles (1 km) further there is another roundabout, go right. You will pass almost immediately an aviation museum. About 0.6 miles (1 km) further on is an angled side road on the right. At the beginning of this road is an entrance to a private road. We parked on the rough grass along the main road. Walk through the entrance and as soon as you’ve passed the second house you can see the beacon.
Remember that you are on private property. Be a good behaving guest and don’t disturb the owners of the houses.
