Contrary to the Avignon Locator stands the VOR not at Caumont airport.
It is located at the airfield of Pujaut.
From Avignon take the N100 to Remoulins.
At Villeneuve-les-Avignon turn right onto the N580 direction Bagnols.
After ca. 4 km you find a turn to the right onto the D677 direction Pujaut and the airfield.
Beware! As soon as you see the airfield at the LHS,
there is a track along the side of the airfield with at the left vineyards.
Follow the track along the airfield and after some time you find the beacon at your RHS.
You don’t find the beacon at the flying school or at the parachute training centre.
At a trip to Orange Wim was in these surroundings, so he went here to take some photos. Luckily there was no gate in the fence and there where no sign to keep out. That gave him the possibility to take some special photos.
