Here I had a piece of luck.
It was a big terrain, with just a low fence and no signs telling me to stay out.
So I could enter the terrain with a hi-vis vest, looking very official for passing cars.
My old list stated that there was a NDB (BRY 277) and a VOR/DME here.
But alas, only the VOR/DME was left. Of the NDB only the foundations where left, inclusive the feeder cable.
With the camera lens put against the glass of the windows it was even possible to make a few photos of the inside of the building.
Route to BRY.
Choose at Montereau-Fault-Yonne, southeast of Paris, the D411/Grande Rue Saint-Maurice direction Nogent-sur-Seine.
(Coming from Paris via the Peage A5, take exit 18 just after passing Montereau.)
Follow the D411 for 24.5 km – straight on over 5 roundabouts. Turn right onto the D59.
The beacon is at the RHS after 2 km.
