Locator DX, Dax Seyresse, 5 August 2010

From Wim's travel report:
On the road at 10.30 am, it is busy in the Dax region. Then Miss Mio (GPS) wants a road somewhere where I don't see one. After driving around twice I decide to enter the street opposite the intended location. Car parked and receiver and camera bag with you. There appears to be a road here that looks like the entrance to a house or farm. That is correct, but since MM was sure that I should be here, I continue walking. I continue past a corn field and the signal becomes even stronger. And at the end of this path is DX. Back at the car I make the sound recording and the resident of the house I am standing next to comes and asks what kind of strange sound that is. Yes, and how to explain that in French.

The lane between the trees is the road to DX.





Turn right to the farm, straight on to DX.


We are approaching our goal.
