This NDB is also well received in the Netherlands. That is why this beacon was also on our list for 2006.

Coming from Calais via the A16/E40, take exit 39 (Peuplingues D243). Almost immediately on the D243 you can turn left onto the D244-E1 which immediately turns off towards the motorway and then runs parallel to it. Just before St. Inglevert you can see the beacon on a hill on the right. A narrow road leads to it.

From the beacon you have a view of Calais with the Strait of Calais behind it. A short distance from St. Inglevert you will find Cap Griz-Nez with a beautiful view of 'the Channel'. In the right weather conditions you can see the English coast from here!
This beacon is not on the GEN 2.5 list of 2024.
