VOR/DME LUC, Le Luc le Cannet, 9 June 2011

The first beacon today is LUC, and that is not far from the hotel.
Miss Mio (GPS) tells me to take the first road on the right about a kilometer from the beacon.
That road is unsuitable for a car, so I go on foot.
After almost a kilometer of walking I cross an asphalt road, the road further uphill is easy for a car.
And yes, a few hundred meters later I am at LUC.
There is enough space around it to take pictures.
For the enthusiast: there is even a picnic table with benches.
Back in the car I inspect the map of MM and yes,
not going right but straight ahead would have brought me to the asphalt road that went right past the beacon.
