Macon Locator MO, 29 July 2007.

The beacon is located at the rear of the airport, near to the A6. Because there are some trees and scrubs between the beacon and the motorway you can not see it from the Péage.
At the south of Macon take the exit to go of the A6 (Péage). At the roundabout you go to the right onto the N79 (in the direction to the viaduct under the A6). As soon as you passed the viaduct keep right, you need the first road to the right, the Chemin de la Balme. At the second roundabout turn right, the Chemin du Bois d’Alier. You pass again under the A6 and then turn left onto the Chemin des Allogneraies. Short after that you can turn to the right onto a parking. Keep to the right and you enter a second parking.
The beacon is here behind the bushes. Walk along the side of the airfield to come at the beacon.
