Locator OC, Cognac - Châteaubernard, 31 July 2010

According to the radio, this is Black Saturday. My plans are heading towards Niort and Cognac, which is almost perpendicular to the route to the coast that the French love. The NS locator at Niort is found around 16:00. Now first to locator AGO. It shows up on time, so that's good. There should be a campsite near locator OC. Yes, it is there, but it is no longer used. So to OC, it is between the grapes, and they will probably end up as cognac. There should also be a campsite in Cognac. I almost get stuck at a party in the centre. So the campsite is full, hotels are full. At one hotel they are helpful, their colleague in Angouleme still has room. I booked immediately and go back there. I end up in the centre of Angouleme and sleep that night in a luxury room. Long live the inventor of the credit card!
