Wim writes in his travel report:
On to Phalsburg for the next beacon. Buy bread along the way, the shops are closed between 12 and 2 p.m., so be there on time. A few km before PHG there is a fence over the road. Yep, Base Aerienne! I look to the right at the airport and what do I see, yes the beacon. Turning the car – they don't see what's happening behind that fence – and took photos from the car with the short telephoto lens. The long wave has interference from the voltage converter, but something is better than nothing, at least I have a sound recording. Some of the interference may be able to be smoothed out.
