Locator SAL, Salon de Provence, 7 June 2011

On June 6, Wim searches for SAL, which is located at the air base near Salon. No luck again. He uses the loop antenna to locate the beacon, but he doesn't see it. Wim gets an idea in the hotel. He searches for SAL on Google Earth with FSXGE. His location of the beacon was correct, he should have seen it. So first back to the location of the previous day.
But a hundred meters earlier on that road he does indeed see the beacon in the distance. At the location of yesterday he is just behind a tree. Took a photo with the large telephoto lens, but it is not very great, there is a vibration in the air due to the heat. But anyway, it is a photo of SAL!

Yes, SAL is there! (with an 800mm telephoto lens!).
