ABückeburg NDB BYC, 2 June 2008.

Beware. This beacon is also located on a military compound. Just at the spot where the road turns to the left, you will see signs saying you are not allowed to go on. Don’t go on to the fence, stop before the signs!
In Germany we have visited several beacons with low fences. It would be easy to take a step onto the other side of those fences. In some countries we would possibly do that, but don’t do this in Germany.

Start in easterly direction on the A30/ E30 (signs for Hannover/Bad Oeynhausen/Gohfeld.) This road changes into the B61 (Dehmer Straße.). After 11 km take the exit towards Bremen/Stadthagen/Minden-Ost and go onto the B65. After 10.6 km take exit towards Achumer Straße/K12. Go right into Achumer Straße/K12, stay on this road for 3.4 km.
- At this point you have possibly already seen the beacon to the right - Go right at K14/Tallenser Straße. Then take the first road to the right. This road turns back along the road you came from.
Stop at the moment the road turns to the left.
This beacon is not on the GEN 2.5 list of 2024.
