Egelsbach NDB EH, 15 july 2013

In his travel report Wim writes:
We arrive at EH (Egelsbach). But there is a group of trees with a strip of bushes in the way. And to top it off there is also a stream running through the “jungle”. No view anywhere while this is the right side because of the position of the sun. But Wim is always stubborn and eventually he crosses the stream via a kind of wobbly stepping stones.
To be on the safe side we ask Miss Garmin to show us the way to the airport buildings. There is a corner to take a few pictures hanging over a fence. It is now six o'clock and we would like to strengthen ourselves with coffee before we go looking for the hotel. We walk into the airport restaurant and take a seat on the terrace. And guess what, we have the best view of EH there.
This beacon is not on the GEN 2.5 list for 2024.
