Heringsdorf NDB HC, August 30, 2017.

Near the Polish border, on the Baltic Sea coast, lies Heringsdorf. There is an airport nearby.
The road to this beacon runs from Garz via a clinker path that is officially a cycle path. From this path, the terrain runs down to where the water of the Oderhaff is. Since this area is full of trees and bushes, the Oderhaff and the beacon were not visible. Via various paths and with the help of taking bearings with the receiver, we eventually found the beacon, but it was a real hunt to find our "prey".
This beacon is not on the GEN 2.5 list of 2024.
