Wim and I had some difficulties to get at this beacon. The streets in the surrounding of this beacon are changed to keep traffic to the factories at distance of the residential area. We where standing at the street Osterhop and couldn’t find the connection with the Funkschneise. Our navigation system told us that we had to go for a few hundred metres, so we started walking. From a bicycle viaduct above a railway we could se the beacon at a distance. Google Earth was, when we where writing this text, still showing the connection of the two roads. But the built-in route planner did give a usable route. Oh, and Wim did choose a hotel without highway noises. It was very good placed on our route along the beacons. How good on our route? You can see that on the last photo on this page. Luckily it remained silence between 22.00 hour and 07.30 hour!
